Ranch. The respected and knowledgeable panel of judges included Blair Cudmore
(breeder and owner of GP stallion Conejo), John Anderson (International GP

Royale earned a very respectable score with good marks for her conformation,
technique and scope. This was the 4th time she had ever free jumped and
certainly the highest (4'). She handled everything extremely well, really
thinking her way through. We are proud of her!
Aug 30/04 - Royale is now under
saddle walk/trot/canter. She has been easy to start showing good trainability
and good aptitude for work.
Royale decends from the proven mare family, Holsteiner Stamm 95. Royal's dam, Zenit, is a State Premium Holsteiner mare with a production record that includes offspring who have competed successfully in the German Young Horse and Riding Horse Championships as well as a licensed stallion son successful at DAD. Royale is a mare of quality, her bloodlines, movement, and conformation predict she will be a wonderful performer in either dressage or jumping. With her valuable blood, Royal is an important contribution to breeding as well.
Royale has been ground driving and was backed in late summer by
Kris Wellstein
she has been out trail riding this fall and is great.
Sire: Cabaret was a successful Grand Prix dressage stallion (1993
AHHA and NASFA Grand Prix Horse of the Year, etc) who also held a no-fault
record in Open Preliminary Jumper Classes on the Florida circuit as a young
horse. Cabaret’s sire was the legendary Cor de la Bryere, his dam sire was the
renowned Landgraf, together representing two of the most influential jumping
lines in the world and the foundation for the Holsteiner breed itself. Cabaret’s
full brother, Corlandus, was an international dressage superstar (many time
European champion and 1988 Olympic medallist). Cabaret, himself tremendously
talented, is described as honest, dependable and extraordinarily intelligent
with an unending work ethic and a gentleman’s character. He is known to pass on
this character as well as his keen attitude toward learning and affinity for
people. Ridden by young riders, amateurs, and professionals alike, they offer
their talent willingly. They truly love to work and have ample talent. Recently,
a Cabaret youngster "Cabernet" was the 2001 Indio Circuit Champion in the Adult
Amateur division. He has produced approved sons and numerous Premium daughters
as well as horses successful on the line, in the dressage ring and on the hunter
and jumper circuits. Cabaret is the only foreign stallion to ever have to honor
of being used within the French National Stud breeding program.
Note:
Mare owners
must apply for Cabaret's services. Only proven broodmares are accepted. A copy
of the prospective mare's pedigree, her status with her breed registry, and a
video of her natural movement or performance are required.
Zenit was accepted
based on her exceptional production record and pedigree.

Larosa has lovely movement and nice form over fences, she would also be an asset in the breeding shed.
Sire:
Louis is a
very impressive, handsome Holsteiner jumper stallion and a good representative
of the renown stamm 776. He has competed successfully at the Preliminary II
level (at shows such as Indio, etc) and shows enormous elasticity in his
movement and unlimited jumping capacities. LOUIS is approved by the Studbook
Zangersheide because of the extraordinary genetic value of his pedigree. His
sire, Lord, has, for years, been ranked in the top group of producers of sport
horses worldwide. His damsire, the legendary Ramiro, is found in numerous stud
books and is known for his almost unequalled production record. The bloodline
connection of Lord-Ramiro is famous for producing noble horses of the highest
capabilities. Louis’ dam, Galina, was elite mare in Holsteiner breeding with
high scores. She brought several approved stallions and successful sport horses,
especially Louis' full brother Louis J, who is the flagship stallion of the
Studfarm Jennissen in Germany and who has both a successful breeding and Grand
Prix career. Louis' offspring show very good type, size and beauty as well as a
very reliable and laid back character. They are well respected for their

Sire: Warkanson

Dam:

2001 Canadian Warmblood Mare, expected to mature
to 16hh
SOLD –
Congratulations to Dr. Gill Acton!
September 21/06 - Winsome has been back under saddle and is a lovely ride. Very
willing, she is jumping small courses.
Apr/04/06 - Winsome has had most of the winter off and is ready to go back to
work this spring
Oct/05 -
Winsome attended two hunter shows this fall with excellent results, after just a
few weeks over fences, pinning in 5 of 7 classes up to 2’3”. She even won her
stakes class! In her typical fashion, Winsome handled everything calmly and
willingly.
Aug/05 - Now back in training,
Winsome has easily picked up where she left off and is progressing very well.
Sept 12/04 - Winsome C was 3rd at
the 2004 Free Jumping Competition at Anderson Ranch in the 3-year-old class. She
placed behind a stallion and our very own Royale C. There were ten 3-year-olds
in this class of very good caliber. Winnie had never seen fences like this and
absolutely gave it everything she had. She showed lots of scope and was
determined not to touch a thing! She was probably a foot over the final 4'
fence!
Aug 12/04 - Winsome C has had 60
days training and walks, trots and canters with excellent transitions. She's
now back in the pasture to do some growing up.
Winsome is a lovely moving mare with an excellent
temperament; she shows good scope and ability to adjust through the chute to
4'. Winsome’s personality and exceptional trainability have made her a favorite
with everyone that meets her and we predict she will have great success in the
dressage or hunter/jumper ring. Her maternal half brother is currently doing
both dressage and jumping in the US, her maternal sister is now in an "A"
circuit hunter barn.
Winsome has had ground
driving and additional ground work done in 2004 and was backed in late summer by
Kris Wellstein.
Sire:
Warkanson is a modern Hanoverian who is one of only four stallions in all of
Western Canada approved for breeding by the German Hanoverian Association,
the association with the strictest selection protocol worldwide.. He was
imported from Germany after he completed his 'eleven month' performance test
with great success. Warkanson has lots of presence, excellent conformation and a
natural talent for all disciplines. He moves with natural ease that combines
power and strength and his riding qualities and work ethic are excellent.
Showing a natural ability to collect on the flat, over the jump Warkanson
exhibits good leg technique and scope. Combined with the top dressage and
jumping bloodlines, Warkanson himself is an asset for any sport horse breeding
program. After standing five years at stud in Canada, it is obvious that
Warkanson's foals inherit his wonderful movement and temperament. Every year
they achieve top placings at Foal Futurities, CSH as well as CWBH (eg.
Lostris- CSH Champion Alberta 2000 and Wyman - CWB Champion 2001 Alberta
South). In 2003 his first offspring will be old enough to enter a variety of
show rings: dressage and jumper, as well as hunter.

Lola is a
stately filly with a remarkable temperament, outstanding
movement, and huge expected jumping ability. She is an embryo
transfer product by the Zangersheide approved Holsteiner jumper
stallion, Leroy, and out of a State Premium Holsteiner mare with
German Young Horse and Riding Horse Championship competitor

very good work ethic and will be a magnificent performance horse
as well as an exciting contribution to breeding.
Sire: Leroy
Leroy is a
fascinating son of the legendary Landgraf I and represents the
famous Holsteiner Stamm 776. The bloodline combination Landgraf
I -Ronald is a proven nick and became especially reknown by the
World Cup winner Libero H (Jos Lansink). In Leroy's case this
combination is even more valuable by going back on the bottom of
the dam side to Herrscher, known to informed breeders for his
production of especially loadable and competitive horses. Leroy
is approved by the Studbook Zangersheide because of the
extraordinary genetic value of his bloodline construction. Leroy
himself shows an extremely electric, careful, powerful canter
and jumping style, unlimited jumping capacities, a very alert,
but always clear minded temperament and an unbeatable presence
and modern nobleness. By passing these attributes over to his
progeny in a remarkable way, his offspring are as fascinating as
they are in demand. |
